The Space Shuttle Atlantis will be launched to the International Space Station (ISS) on Friday 8 July 2011 at 11:26 local time (17:26 CET), and will mark the beginning of the end of the US space shuttle era. During its 12-day voyage, Atlantis will carry four NASA astronauts on board: Commander Chris Ferguson, Pilot Doug Hurley and Mission Specialists Rex Walheim and Sandra Magnus.
